Things to do in Quarantine: Revamp the Shoe-Wardrobe DIYs
How many pairs of shoes you own? Doesn’t matter if you own just a couple or have a separate wardrobe showroom for that – if you are up for some revamp and change in these bored up times, we have got you a plan. We are here with a series of Do-It-Yourself ideas to renew those boots and shoes which have been sitting idle and facing some of the worst lockdowns ‘cause you forgot them long ago.
So, dig up those confined spaces and bring some sheers to the old pairs with our series of DIY’s. Here we go…
Paint ‘em all: Gather your old pair of white sneakers – the perfect canvas for your vibrant ides to flow. Some bit of acrylic or fabric paint, brushes and stencils.
Get embroidery skills rolling: Some buttons, studs, pearls or laces – pick what you would want to do to the other-wise boring and out of fashion yet comfortable pair of shoes in the cupboard.
Appliqué and Patchwork: Show some great creative instincts and make best from waste – from ribbons to embroidery patches on the old T-shirts or frills that have been laying in some corner of the drawers.
Get Crafty: Plan some Origami and Kirigami session, cut out stencils and give dimension to the old shoes – get it wings, it flies high it style.
The Boho Gladiator: Get funky with pom-poms and give entirely new update to gladiator sandals and shoes – the lots of strings and laces are perfect to add the pom-poms and make it all Boho-chic! You can experiment with beads, mirrors, glasses and shells – this one will be truly refreshing thing to take up at home.
The Minimalist Makeover: Just get one stroke of a primary color you like on the lower outer sole and make the shoe look eye-catchy. A stroke of Red, we advise will be a stroke of masterpiece for the dying shoe in the corner.
